AS A JUNIOR (2015-2016): Finished in third place in the 200 yd. breaststroke (2:35.45) against Bryant…Came in first place in the 200 yd. medley relay (1:57.62) against Bridgewater State…Came in eleventh place in the 100 yd. breaststroke (1:16.65) against Keene State…Dropped almost 8 seconds and took second in the 200 yd. breaststroke (2:28.06) against Williams…Finished twelfth in the 400 yd. IM (4:54.22) at the Dartmouth Invitational…Dropped another almost 3 seconds and came in second place in the 200 yd. breaststroke (2:25.86) against BU…Came in sixty-fourth place overall in the 200 yd. IM (2:12.67) at the ACC Championships…Holds a season’s best dual meet time in the 200 yd. breaststroke (2:25.86) from the BU meet.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2014-2015): Swam fastest 100 yd. breaststroke (1:07.89) and finished in fifteenth place at the Terrier Invitational…Swam fastest 100 yd. IM (1:06.30) against Maine…Took seventh place in the 50 yd. backstroke (32.14) against Williams…Came in twenty-ninth place in the 400 yd. IM (4:37.82) at the ACC Championships…Scored 9.00 individual dual meet points for the season…Awarded Kevin Conway Award for Outstanding Sophomore.
AS A FRESHMAN (2013-2014): Swam the 200 Breast, 200 Butterfly, 200 Individual medley, and the 400 Individual Medley... Abbi swam season bests at the Terrier Invitational... Top 24 finalist in her events... Swam a season best in the 400 Individual Medley at the UConn Open... Member of the 2014 ACC Championship team... Swam a lifetime best in the 200 Individual Medley at ACC Championship.
BEFORE BC: Abigail attended Lake Forest High School... lettered all 4 years... team captain 2012... recipient of the first NSC Sportsmanship Award... All Academic 2011 and 2012.
PERSONAL: From Lake Forest, Illinois... daughter of Jeff and Toni Kordell... one younger sister, Caroline (16), a sophomore in high school who attends Woodlands Academy of the Sacred Heart... swims for Scout Aquatics Swim Club.
