AS A JUNIOR (2018-19): Swam a personal best in the 50 Y Breast with a time of 31.29… swam a season best of 1:06.58 in the 100 Y Breast… swam a personal best in the 200 Y IM with a time of 2:07.28… swam a season best in the 200 Y Breast with a time of 2:28.87 ... named to the ACC Honor Roll.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2017-2018): Strongly contributed to the team in breaststroke and individual medley events…attended the ACC Championships, where she placed 35th in the 100 yd. breaststroke (1:07.85) which she later improved in a time trial to a best time and the 10th fastest time in program history (1:05.68), 36th in the 200 yd. breaststroke (2:25.73), and 64th in the 200 yd. individual medley (2:10.70)…at the Terrier Invitational, placed 17th in the 100 yd. breaststroke (1:06.69), 17th in the 200 yd. individual medley, marking the 6th fastest time in program history (2:07.65), and 19th in the 400 yd. individual medley (4:36.19)…at the dual meet vs. Williams, placed 5th in the 100 yd. breaststroke (1:08.54), 5th in the 200 yd. breaststroke (2:33.50), and 5th in the 200 yd. individual medley (2:13.16)…at the dual meet vs. Boston University, placed 3rd in the 100 yd. breaststroke (1:09.33) and 6th in the 200 yd. breaststroke (2:32.90)…scored a total of 104.75 points her sophomore year…named to the ACC Honor Roll.
AS A FRESHMAN (2016-2017): Had a successful freshman year, competing primarily in breaststroke and Individual Medley events…At the Terrier Invite, placed 17th in the 200 yard Breaststroke with a time of 2:24.86, 21st in the 400 yard Individual Medley with a time of 4:37.55, and 26th in the 100 yard Breaststroke with a time of 1:09.21…at the Boston University dual meet, placed 2nd in the 100 yard breaststroke and 5th in the 200 yard breaststroke…traveled to Atlanta as the first alternate on the ACC squad.
BEFORE BC: Member of the Wilton YMCA Wahoo Swim Team since 2004...varsity letter earner all four years...wom the Connecticut State champions in 2012, 2014, and 2015 and was part of the 200 yd. Medley Relay that broke the school record in 2014....All-State Swimmer, all Southern CT Conference Winner, and New Haven Register: All Area Girls Team Member....Top 16 CT State Scholar Swimmer and participated in SC National Championships and LC National Championships in 2014-16.
PERSONAL: Dakota is the daughter of Barbara and Edward Meyer...she has an older sister, Madison and a younger brother, Chase...enrolled in the Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences.
