2025-2026 Varsity Club Officers



Richard J. Schoenfeld '74
Richard J. Schoenfeld is the 58th President of the Varsity Club. He is a long-time season ticket holder, an annual contributor to the Flynn Fund and has served in a volunteer position of leadership at Boston College since graduation. He previously served as the 55th President of the Varsity Club (2017-2019). Richard is a Past President of the Pike’s Peak Hockey Club, and he currently sits on its Board of Directors. He earned his degree in Business Administration in 1974. Richard is an attorney practicing in Newton, MA. He resides in Dedham with his wife, Cheryl Duddy Schoenfeld ’87, who serves as the Advisor for the BC Spirit Program. They have one daughter Meg and one granddaughter Morgan Rose.
John “Jack” Carter '23
Jack Carter is the 1st Vice President of the Varsity Club. He graduated in 2023 with a degree in Management with a dual focus on Marketing and Leadership. A long-distance runner, he ran Cross Country and Track at Boston College. While on the Heights, Jack served as Co-President of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). He was also the first Eagle to serve as chair of the Atlantic Coast Conference Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. Originally from Sudbury, MA, Jack now lives in Boston and works in marketing.
Tracey Harney Blaisdell '82
Tracey Blaisdell is the 2nd Vice President of the Varsity Club. The 47th Varsity Club President, she is a long-time member of the Varsity Club leadership team; and helped establish the President’s Council. Tracey was a pioneer in women’s athletics at Boston College and earned her letter as a member of the Lacrosse Team. The 1980 Lacrosse team was the first Boston College women’s team to qualify for a National Championship. She is the 2021 recipient of the William J. Donlon Award. Tracey lives in Lewiston, ME with her husband Robert and their children and is the current lacrosse coach for Lewiston High School.



JASON DELANEY '05
Jason Delaney is the Treasurer of the Boston College Varsity Club. Jason earned his Varsity Letter as a member of the Baseball team where he served as captain and still holds numerous offensive records including career hits. He was inducted into the Varsity Club Hall of Fame in 2022. In addition, Jason helps lead the Boston College Baseball Diamond Club, is a yearly donor to the Flynn Fund, and is an active mentor in the BC athletic community. Jason works at PwC as a Partner in their Mergers & Acquisitions & Consulting practice. He resides in Norwell with his wife, Rhys, and children Currie, Charley Joy, and Calle.
Walker Davey '23
Walker Davey is the Secretary of the Varsity Club. He graduated in 2023 with a degree in finance and business analytics. A member of the Men's Soccer team during his time here at Boston College, Walker was elected captain senior year and additionally served as co-president of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. Walker now works in wealth management, and in addition to his work with the Varsity Club, he serves on his middle school alumni council as well as the GOLD leadership group here at Boston College.
Chris S. Conley '91
Chris Conley is the Secretary and Historian of the Varsity Club. He was the 52nd President of the Varsity Club and graduated in 1991 with a degree in History. A middle-distance runner, he was the recipient of the Athletic Department Senior Award for Track & Field. He is the long-time statistician for Boston College Track & Field and is a member of USA Track & Field. Professionally, Chris has served as a Logistics and Media Consultant for the FIFA World Cup, the Boston Marathon, the New York City Marathon and the USA Olympic Marathon Trials. Chris resides in Chestnut Hill with a view of the Boston College Campus.


Raymond G. Perrone '80
Ray Perrone is the Immediate Past President of the Varsity Club. Ray served as the 57th President of the Varsity Club after previously serving as the 49th President (2004-2005). He earned his letter as the Eagles Head Student Football Trainer and graduated from the Carroll School of Management with a degree in Marketing. Ray has held numerous executive sales positions, with a focus on Global Supply Chain and Logistics. He is a resident of Belmont, MA and a life-long parishioner of St. Luke's Church.
David Hasenfus '65
David Hasenfus is the Historian Emeritus of the Varsity Club. David served as the Varsity Club Historian for twenty years, founded and funded “The Eagle of the Year Award” in 1976 and later the “Olympic Sport Scholarship”. He is a 1965 graduate of Boston College and was voted into the Varsity Club in 1984. He splits his time between Needham and his home in Maine.
