AS A SENIOR (2018-19): Swam a season best in the 200 Y Back with a time of 2:03.89… swam a season best in the 100 Y Back with a time of 56.74… swam a personal best in the 50 Y Fly with a time of 26.78… swam a personal best in the 100 Y Fly with a time of 57.61… swam a personal best in the 50 Y Back with a time of 26.88 ... named to the ACC Honor Roll.
AS A JUNIOR (2017-2018): Competed primarily in backstroke and individual medley events…was a member of the ACC Championships team, where she placed 41st in the 100 yd. backstroke (56.89), 48th in the 200 yd. backstroke (2:05.44), and 62nd in the 200 yd. individual medley (2:10.43)…at the Terrier Invitational, placed 5th in the 200 yd. backstroke (2:04.48), 6th in the 100 yd. backstroke (57.58), setting a personal best time in the preliminaries of the event and swimming the 3rd fastest time in program history (56.71), 14th in the 200 yd. individual medley (2:08.58)…at the dual meet vs. Williams, won the 100 yd. backstroke (57.19) and 200 yd. backstroke (2:05.28)… at the dual meet vs. Boston University, placed 2nd in the 100 yd. backstroke (57.80) and 3rd in the 200 yd. backstroke (2:05.59)…named to the ACC Honor Roll.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2016-2017): Made great contributions to the team in the Backstroke and Individual Medley events…at the Terrier Invitational, placed 12th in the 200 yard backstroke with a time of 2:06.35 and 19th in the 200 yard Individual Medley with a time of 2:09.82, a personal best time….swam a season and BC best at ACC's in the 200 yard Backstroke (2:04.34)…swam a season best at ACC's in the 100 yard Backstroke (58.84).
AS A FRESHMAN (2015-2016): Took second place in the 200 yd. medley relay (1:52.81) and third in the 100 yd. backstroke (1:01.65) against Bryant…finished eleventh in the 200 yd. backstroke (2:15.13) at the New England Catholic Invitational…came in tenth place in the 400 yd. IM (4:53.88) at the Thomas Murphy Invitational…dropped 3 seconds and took third place in the 100 yd. backstroke (58.51) against Williams…placed third in the 200 yd. IM (2:19.93) against Marist…finished third in the 200 yd. backstroke (2:08.34) against BU…competed in 10 regular season meets and the ACC Championships as a freshman…holds the season’s best dual meet time in the 100 backstroke (58.51) from the Williams meet.

BEFORE BC: Four year varsity letter earner...named team captain senior year...recognized as an all-league and all-section swimmer during her time on the team...Section and State Qualifier, also a junior national qualifier during her junior and senior years...achieved scholastic all-American at the end of her senior year.
PERSONAL: Katherine is the daughter of Karen and Eric Karle and is the youngest of 4....Stephanie (31) graduated from Notre Dame is married and living in Chicago, James (28) graduated and swam for Boston College and is now living and working in NYC, Matthew (25) graduated and swam for Harvard University and is now living and working in Denver, Colo....Captain of her club swim team, BGNW Marlins, and swam for 11 years...studying at the Connell School of Nursing.
