AS A SENIOR (2018-19): Swam a personal best in the 50 Y Free with a time of 25.32… swam a personal best in the 100 Y Back with a time of 59.01… swam a personal best in the 50 Y Back with a time of 27.83 ... named to the ACC Honor Roll.
AS A JUNIOR (2017-2018): Competed primarily in backstroke events…at the Terrier Invitational, placed 30th in the 200 yd. backstroke (2:13.03), 32nd in the 100 yd. backstroke (1:01.03), 55th in the 200 yd. individual medley (2:15.44), and 56th in the 50 yd. freestyle (25.63)…at the Boston Winter Open, placed 4th in the 200 yd. backstroke (2:10.17), 6th in the 100 yd. backstroke (1:00.41), and 6th in the 50 yd. freestyle (25.37)…at the New England Catholic Invite, placed 30th in the 100 yd. backstroke (1:05.68), 38th in the 50 yd. freestyle (26.69), and 41st in the 200 yd. backstroke (2:24.04)…named to the ACC Honor Roll.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2016-2017): At the New England Catholic Invite, placed 14th in the 100 yard Backstroke and 15th in the 200 yard Backstroke…placed 28th in the 200 Backstroke at the Terrier Invite with a time of 2:13.55 and 37th in the 100 yard Backstroke with a time of 1:01.04…had a strong finish to her season with a fifth place finish in the 200 yard Backstroke with a time of 2:12.43.
AS A FRESHMAN (2015-2016): Came in twelfth in the 100 yd. backstroke (1:03.54) at the New England Catholic Invitational…Took second in the 50 (28.75) and first in the 100 (1:02.34) yd. backstroke against Bridgewater State…Finished first in the 100 (1:02.69) and fourth in the 200 (2:16.42) yd. backstroke against Keene State…Dropped almost 2 seconds and finished fourth in the 200 yd. backstroke (2:14.77) at the UConn Open…Competed in 7 regular season meets as a freshman.
BEFORE BC: Four-year varsity swimmer at Barrington High School...conference champ, sectional champ, state qualifier...swam 10 years at Barrington Swim Club and 2 years at Patriot Aquatic Club, which won the senior state title in 2015.
PERSONAL: Kelsey is the daughter of John and Lauren...she has two sisters, Taylor (21) studying at the University of Illinois, and Alli (20) studying at Illinois State University...Kelsey teaches at Foss Swim School...she is studying at the Carroll School of Management.
