AS A JUNIOR (2018-2019): Swam personal bests at the ACC Championships in the 200 IM (1:52.42), 100 backstroke (52.78), and 200 breaststroke (2:04.87)… swam personal bests at the Boston Winter Open in the 100 breaststroke (57.03) and 200 butterfly (1:53.95), placing first and fifth respectively ... placed third in the 200 IM at the Boston Winter Open (1:52.60)…Placed seventh in both the 200 IM (1:53.87) and 200 butterfly (1:54.33) as well as 12th in the 100 breaststroke (57.23) at the Terrier Invitational…Achieved three top-10 times in Boston College program history (200 IM, 100 breaststroke, 200 breaststroke) … named to ACC Honor Roll.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2017-2018): Placed second in both the 200 yd. butterfly (1:55.44) and 200 yd. individual medley (1:54.12) at the Boston Winter Open ... at the Terrier Invitational, placed 12th in the 200 yd. individual medley (1:54.29), 23rd in the 200 yd. butterfly (1:56.95), 32nd in the 100 yd. butterfly (53.10), and 42nd in the 100 yd. backstroke (55.33)…at the dual meet vs. Williams, placed 3rd in the 200 yd. individual medley (1:57.91) and 7th in the 100 yd. breaststroke (59.90) ... at the New England Catholic Invite, placed 11th in the 100 yd. backstroke (57.50), 12th in the 200 yd. butterfly (2:05.64), and 15th in the 200 yd. individual medley (2:05.09)…named to the ACC Honor Roll.
AS A FRESHMAN (2016-2017): Competed primarily in butterfly and individual medley events…at the New England Catholic Invite, placed 6th in the 400 yard individual medley and 7th in the 200 yard butterfly…at the Terrier Invitational, qualified for the Bonus Finals of the 200 yard butterfly and 200 yard individual medley, with times of 1:57.66 and 1:55.11, respectively...placed second in the 200 yard individual medley (1:54.94) and 5th in the 200 butterfly (1:57.78) at the Husky Invitational…qualified as a member of the 2017 Trinidad & Tobago National Team…took third place in the LCM 800 freestyle relay (8:12.00), sixth place in the LCM 200 IM (2:15.96), and seventh place in the LCM 200 Back (2:19.10) at the CCCAN Championship on behalf of Trinidad &Tobago…achieved ACC Academic Honor Roll.
BEFORE BC: Attended American Heritage High School…achieved high honors all four years…National Merit Commended Scholar…AP Scholar with Distinction…Trinidad and Tobago national team member...three time state champion 2013-2015…all Broward County first team 2014 & 2015…four time state qualifier.
PERSONAL: Jonathan is from Miami, FL…he is the son of Carlos-Miguel and Sandra Farah…he has two sisters, Isabelle (17) and Danielle (32)…Jonathan swims for his club team, South Florida Aquatic Club.
