AS A SOPHOMORE (2020-21): At Army, swam a season best in the 200 Y Back with a time of 1:56.61… At the ACC Championship meet, swam a season best in the 200 Y IM with a time of 1:57.10… swam a season best in the time trial of the 100 Y Back with a time of 52.79.
BEFORE BC: 2018 All-American… 2018-2019 Team Captain of St. Anthony’s High School and Team Suffolk Swim Club… 4 Year Varsity Athlete as a member of St. Anthony’s High School Swim Team; undefeated in dual meets four consecutive years and won 3 out of 4 NY State Federation Championships… 2019 State Finalist in 200 Medley Relay (Backstroke), 200 IM and 100 Back… NCSA Junior National and Futures Qualifier.
PERSONAL: Ian is from Huntington, New York… Son of Kieran and Lee Ann Fitzpatrick… Three older siblings: Kieran (24) Boston College ‘17 and 4 year member of the BC Swim Team, Aileen (22) swam and recently graduated from Marist College, and Connor (20) runs Cross Country & Track at Marist College… Enrolled in the Carroll School of Management.
