AS A SENIOR (2018-19):Swam a personal best in the 1650 Y Free with a time of 16:03.59… swam a personal best in the 1000 Y Free with a time of 9:42.41… placed first in the 1650 Y Free at the Boston Winter Open.
AS A JUNIOR (2017-2018): Competed in distance, butterfly, and individual medley events throughout the season…at the Boston Winter Open, won the 1650 yd. freestyle with a lifetime best time, setting the 10th fastest time in program history (16:23.15) and placed 3rd in the 500 yd. freestyle (4:46.48)…at the Terrier Invitational, placed 15th in the 1650 yd. freestyle (16:36.35), 19th in the 400 yd. individual medley (4:10.12), 26th in the 500 yd. freestyle (4:46.03), and 30th in the 200 yd. butterfly (1:59.46)…at the dual meet vs. Williams, placed 5th in the 1000 yd. freestyle (10:01.86) and 6th in the 500 yd. freestyle (4:52.70)…at the dual meet vs. Boston University, placed 5th in the 1000 yd. freestyle (9:54.79) and 6th in the 500 yd. freestyle (4:50.72)…named to the ACC Honor Roll.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2016-2017): Was an integral member of the team’s distance program as a regular competitor and scorer in the 500 yard Freestyle and 1000 yard Freestyle, among other events…selected as a member of the travel squads for the Chicago meets as well as the Williams Dual…at the Terrier Invitational, placed 12th in the 1650 yard Freestyle with a lifetime-best time of 16:23.92, 19th in the 500 yard Freestyle with a time of 4:43.63, and qualified for the Bonus Final of the 400 yard Individual Medley with a time of 4:13.08…placed 6th in both the 1000 yard Freestyle and 500 yard Freestyle events at the Williams dual…finished his season at the Husky Invite with a first place finish season-best time of 9:52.91 in the 1000 yard Freestyle and a second-place finish in the 500 yard Freestyle.
AS A FRESHMAN (2015-2016): Took second in the 1000 yd. freestyle (10:11.85) against Bryant…came in fourth in the 500 yd. freestyle (4:55.97) and fourth in the 1000 yd. freestyle (10:09.72) at the New England Catholic Invitational…took fifth in the 400 yd. IM (4:20.16) at the Thomas Murphy Invitational…came in third in the 1000 yd. freestyle (9:55.49) against Williams.
PERSONAL: Born in New Orleans LA. Lives in St. Louis MO....son of Arthur and Susie Hidalgo....has one brother, Bradley (13)...swims for club team Rockwood Swim Club in St. Louis.
