Swimming & Diving Prepares for Rutgers Invitational

PISCATAWAY, N.J. — The Boston College Swimming & Diving team heads on the road for the first time this season to compete in the Rutgers Invitational at the Rutgers Aquatics Center. The Eagles will compete against Army, St. Bonaventure, Northeastern, Boston University, Fordham, and the hosts, Rutgers.
The meet will contain three sessions starting on Friday, Oct. 9 at 5 p.m. Competition will resume for session two on Saturday, Oct. 10 at 10 a.m., and session three will commence later that day at 4 p.m.
On Friday, the divers on the women's side will compete in the 3M while the men in the 1M. The two will then switch on Saturday. Live results will be on the Meet Mobile App, while diving results will be on DiveMeets.com here. Swimming information will be added once finalized.
The event will not be livestreamed.
Last Time Out
The Eagles hosted the Maroon & Gold meet over Family Weekend on Friday, Sept. 25. The meet was held for the first time in two years. Boston College broke a program record as freshman Quincy Topping swam a time of 49.84 in the 100 IM.
The last time the Eagles were on the road the team broke two school records in the final day of the ACC Championships. Palmer Bice recorded a time of 43.74 in the 100 free. The men's 400 free relay finished with a time of 2:56.28. In all at the event, the Eagles broke four school records.
