AS A SENIOR (2017-2018): Named to the ACC Honor Roll.
AS A JUNIOR (2016-2017): Competed regularly in the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events…at the New England Catholic Invite, placed fifth in both the 1-meter and 3-meter events…at the Terrier Invite, placed 9th in both the 1-meter and 3-meter events…concluded his season at the Boston University dual with 7th places in both the 1-meter and 3-meter events, earning scores of 191.47 and 165.82, respectively.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2015-2016): Came in fifth place in the 1 m. diving (218.62) against Bridgewater State…placed fifth in the 3 m. diving (184.72) against Williams…took ninth in the 1 m. diving (160.00) at the Dartmouth Invitational.
AS A FRESHMAN (2014-2015): Placed seventh in the 3 m. (164.90) and sixth in the 1 m. (180.05) at the All Catholic Invitational...took fifth place in both the 3 m. (181.85) and the 1 m. (193.20) against Maine and Vermont...competed in five meets as a freshman.
BEFORE BC: Four-year varsity swimmer and diver at Iona Preparatory School in New Rochelle, New York...named Team Captain 2013-2014...placed top seven in the New York Catholic High School Athletic Association’s (NY-CHSAA) Diving Championship and received the CHSAA’s Vin Harkins’ MVP Award...received Iona Prep’s Excellence in Diving Award and was recognized as the highest scoring diver in Iona Prep’s history...maintains position as the pool record holder at the Coveleigh Club in Rye, NY...dove with High Dive Champions in Westchester County, NY...member of the National Honor Society.
PERSONAL: Grant is from Eastchester, NY...son of Barbara Jean and Ronald Dalton...has a brother Beau Dalton, who attended Loyola University in MD, and a brother Troy Dalton, who is a student at Iona Prep..started swimming with the Gael Aquatic Club and Badger Swim Club before making the switch to diving....enrolled in the Carroll School of Management.
