AS A SOPHOMORE (2014-2015): Came in fifth place in the 50 yd. freestyle (20.95) and fifteenth place in the 100 yd. freestyle (47.36) at the Terrier Invitational…Came in first in the 50 yd. backstroke (23.85) against Williams…Took first in the 100 yd. backstroke (52.62) against Connecticut and Keene State…Came in fifty-second place overall in the 100 yd. freestyle (45.75) at the ACC Championships…Totaled 165.00 individual dual meet points for the season…Holds seven best dual meet times of the season…Awarded Kevin Conway Award for Outstanding Sophomore.
AS A FRESHMAN (2013-2014):Conor cemented himself as one of the Eagles' best backstroke swimmers early in the season...Chamness took second in the 100 yard backstroke against Bryant, Williams, Tufts and BU...Conor swam as part of the BC's 200 yard Medley "A" team and took first place against Maine...At Providence, Conor took second and set a BC record in the 100 meter backstroke with a time of 59.67...He finished the year with the team in Greensboro, NC at the ACC Championships.
BEFORE BC: Attended Bishop O'Connell High School in Arlington, VA... Member of the Varsity swim team all four years... School record holder in the 200 medley and 400 free relays... All-American in the 200 medley relay... Played four other varsity sports at O'Connell... Swims for York Swim Club...
PERSONAL: Son of Corey Chamness and Lyn Chamness McGee... Has a twin sister…Currently Enrolled in the Carroll School of Management at BC.
