AS A JUNIOR (2015-2016): Came in first place in the 200 yd. butterfly (1:56.62) and first in the 100 yd. butterfly (52.37) against Bryant…Took second in the 200 yd. IM (2:01.52) at the New England Catholic Invitational…Came in first in the 1000 yd. freestyle (10:29.06) against Bridgewater State…Took second in the 100 yd. butterfly (52.22) at the Thomas Murphy Invitational…Came in first in the 200 yd. butterfly (1:54.31) against Williams…Took thirty-fifth overall in the 100 yd. butterfly (50.27) at the ACC Championships…Holds five season’s best dual meet times.
AS A SOHPOMORE (2014-2015): Came in fourth in the 50 yd. freestyle (22.03) at the New England Catholic Invitational…Took tenth in the 100 yd. backstroke (56.62) at the Thomas Murphy Invitational…Took fourth in the 100 yd. butterfly ((51.86) against Williams…Came in forty-fifth overall in the 100 yd. butterfly (51.31) at the ACC Championships.
AS A FRESHMAN (2013-2014): Howard collected a second place finish in the 400 yd. Individual Medley at the UCONN Open...At Tufts, David took third place in the 100 IM and fourth in the 50 backstroke and 50 butterfly...Howard also placed third in the 500 yard freestyle against Bryant...He traveled to the ACC Championships in his first season as an Eagle.
BEFORE BC: Attended Fairport High school... varsity lettered all 4 years... team captain senior year... 2 time All-Greater Rochester... 4 time sectional champion... 2 time NISCA All-American... 3 time All-County, and NYS Public High School Champion in the 200 Free Relay
PERSONAL: David is from upstate New York, Rochester area... son of Brooks and Elizabeth and has a younger sister, Vienna...Swims on the club Fairport Area Swim Team (FAST).
