AS A SOPHOMORE (2015-2016): Took sixth place in the 200 yd. freestyle (2:04.96) against Bryant…Dropped almost 4 seconds to come in ninth in the 200 yd. freestyle (2:01.00) at the New England Catholic Invitational…Took ninth in the 500 yd. freestyle (5:23.39) at the Thomas Murphy Invitational…Holds a season best dual meet time in the 800 yd. freestyle relay (8:06.29) against Loyola and Johns Hopkins.
AS A FRESHMAN (2014-2015): Came in twenty-sixth place in the 100 yd. freestyle (54.69) and thirteenth place in the 200 yd. freestyle (1:56.39) at the Terrier Invitational…Came in fifth place in the 100 yd. backstroke (1:02.40) against Williams…Competed in the ACC Championships as a freshman and came in forty-third place overall in the 200 yd. freestyle (1:56.21).
BEFORE BC: Attended Fenwick High School in Oak Park, IL…State final qualifier all four years…Sectional Champion in the 200 yd. freestyle in 2012 and in the 200 and 500 yd. freestyle in 2013…Coach’s award winner in 2012…Member of a state runner up team in 2011, 2012…Member of the National Honor Society.
PERSONAL: Grace is from Western Springs, IL and is the daughter of John and Sue Gibbons…Has two brothers and one sister, Conor (20) attends Michigan State, Griffin (16) and Delaney (13)…Swims for Westmont Swim Club…is enrolled in the Carroll School of Management.
