AS A SENIOR (2015-2016): Served as Co-Captain…Took second place in the 200 yd. freestyle (1:58.18) against Bryant…Came in first place in the 400 yd. freestyle relay (4:03.88) at the New England Catholic Invitational…Took sixth in the 500 yd. freestyle (5:18.13) at the Thomas Murphy Invitational…Came in third in the 100 yd. freestyle (55.37) against Keene State…Dropped almost 5 seconds and came in second place in the 200 yd. freestyle (1:53.98) against Williams…Finished first in the 400 yd. freestyle relay (3:38.95) against Marist…Finished forty-third overall in the 500 yd. freestyle (5:06.05) and forty-ninth overall in the 100 yd. freestyle (52.60) at the ACC Championships…Holds season’s best dual meet times in the 200 yd. freestyle, 100 yd. freestyle, 200 yd. freestyle relay, 400 yd. freestyle relay, and 800 yd. freestyle relay.
AS A JUNIOR (2014-2015): Came in sixth place in the 200 yd. freestyle (2:01.13) at the New England Catholic Invitational…Dropped 3 seconds and came in second in the 200 yd. freestyle (1:58.68) against Williams…Swam personal best of the season in the 200 yd. freestyle at the ACC Championships (1:53.44) and finished in thirty-sixth place overall…Was a top finisher for BC at the ACC Championships in the 500 yd. freestyle (5:08.64)…Holds season’s best dual meet times in the 200 yd. freestyle, 400 yd. freestyle relay, and the 800 yd. freestyle relay.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2013-2014): Competed with the travel squad in freestyle, butterfly, and distance events... Named "Outstanding Performer" at the dual meet vs. University of Maine on November 3rd... Holds the record for individual Best Dual Meet Times for the '13-'14 season in the 200 and 500 freestyle, which she accomplished vs. University of Maine, and relay Best Dual Meet Times for the '13-'14 season in the 400 Medley Relay, 400 Freestyle Relay, and 800 Freestyle Relay ... At the 2013 Terrier Invitational, qualified for both the 200 and 500 freestyle finals, swimming a lifetime best time (1.54.83) in the 200, and anchored the 800 freestyle `A' relay that placed 5th...Earned a spot on the 2014 Boston College ACC Women's team and traveled to Greensboro, NC in February... Placed 10th at ACCs along with her teammates in the 800 freestyle relay, which scored 34 points, the largest number of points scored by BC throughout the meet...Swam lifetime best times in the 500 freestyle(5.04.68) and in the 100 freestyle (53.37) at ACCs... Chosen to represent Boston College Swimming at the National Student Athlete Day reception in April... Recipient of the James J. PERSONAL: Lizzie is the daughter of Fran and Lynn Manning (BC '82). She has two sisters, Allie, a sophomore on the team this year, and Jennie, 14. Lizzie swam for her summer club team Covered Bridge since the age of 6 and is now coaching. She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
