AS A SENIOR (2015-2016): Took fourteenth place in the 400 yd. IM (4:57.76) at the New England Catholic Invitational…Came in third in the 200 yd. medley relay (2:00.42) and fourth in the 100 yd. breaststroke (1:13.43) against Bridgewater State…Took sixth place in the 200 yd. breaststroke (2:39.40) against Keene State…Dropped 2 seconds and came in fifth in the 100 yd. breaststroke (1:11.80) against BU.
AS A JUNIOR (2014-2015): Took fifty-first in the 50 yd. freestyle (26.21) at the Terrier Invitational…Finished sixth in the 50 yd. breaststroke (33.26) against Maine…Came in fifth place in the 100 yd. breaststroke (1:11.01) against Williams…Dropped 2 seconds and finished twenty-sixth overall in the 100 yd. breaststroke (1:09.11) at the Terrier Invitational…Totaled 11.50 individual points in dual meets in the season.
AS A SOPHOMORE: (2013-2014): Member of the travel squad and 2014 ACC team... Swam personal best times in the 200 Breast, 50 Free, and 200 I.M.... B Final at Terrier in the 100 Breaststroke and 200 Breaststroke... 2nd at UCONN in the 100 Breast and 200 Breast... Recipient of the Athletic Director's Academic Achievement Award.
BEFORE BC: Attended Faith Lutheran Jr./Sr. High School. Lettered all four years and was captain in 2012. I am part of the 200 medley and 400 free relay high school team records and hold the records in the 200 I.M. and 100 Breast. I was my high school's team's female MVP all four years. I was the 100 Breaststroke High School Regional Champion as a freshmen and my highest placing at state in the 100 Breaststroke is 4th. 2008-2009 Nevada All-State Academic Team. 2009, 2010, 2011 Sunset Region Swimming First Team Award.
PERSONAL: Caitlin is from Las Vegas, Nevada, though she was born in San Diego, California. She is the daughter of Greg and Eileen Marks. She has one sister, Kelsey (16), who will be a junior this year at Faith. Caitlin swims for the club team Boulder City Henderson Heatwave. She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences and plans to double major in biology and mathematics. She is looking forward to freezing in Boston.
