AS A SENIOR (2018-19): Swam a personal best in the 50 Y Free with a time of 21.12… swam a personal best in the 100 Y Breast with a time of 55.18… swam a season best in the 200 Y breast with a time of 2:05.21… placed first in the 50 Y Breast at the ACC Championships.
AS A JUNIOR (2017-2018): Contributed greatly to the team’s breaststroke program…traveled to Greensboro, North Carolina, to where he competed as a member of the ACC Championships team, swimming the breaststroke leg on the record-setting 200 yd. medley relay, and placing 36th in the 100 yd. breaststroke (57.47), 37th in the 200 yd. breaststroke (2:06.43), and 56th in the 50 yd. freestyle (21.23)…at the Terrier Invitational, swam the breaststroke leg on the winning 200 yd. medley relay, and placed 3rd in the 100 yd. breaststroke (56.65), setting the 5th fastest time in program history during prelims (56.06), 9th in the 200 yd. breaststroke (2:06.43), and 25th in the 50 yd. freestyle (21.73)…at the dual meet vs. Williams, won the 100 yd. breaststroke (57.24) and 3rd in the 200 yd. breaststroke (2:09.51)…at the New England Catholic Invite, placed 2nd in the 100 yd. breaststroke (1:00.04), 4th in the 50 yd. freestyle (22.22), and 6th in the 200 yd. breaststroke (2:16.51)…voted a team captain for his senior year…scored a total of 187.75 points his junior year…named to the ACC Honor Roll.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2016-2017): Made significant contributions to the team as a regular competitor in the 100 yard and 200 yard Breaststroke events…At the Terrier Invite, placed 4th in the 100 yard Breaststroke with a time of 56.59, 5th in the 200 yard Breaststroke with a time of 2:06.49, and 21st in the 50 yard Freestyle with a time of 21.55…won both the 100 yard and 200 yard Breaststroke events at the Williams dual…at the ACC Championships, placed 31st in the 100 yard Breaststroke, 32nd in the 200 yard Breaststroke with a season-best time of 2:04.92, and 59th in the 50 yard Freestyle with a season-best time of 21.32…scored a total of 212 points his sophomore year.
AS A FRESHMAN (2015-2016): Came in seventh place in the 100 yd. breaststroke (57.72) and 13th place in the 200 yd. breaststroke (2:10.68) at the Terrier Invitational…took second in the 100 yd. breaststroke (1:00.91) and third in the 200 yd. breaststroke (2:17.99) against Marist…took first in the 100 yd. breaststroke (58.49) at the Dartmouth Invitational…competed in 7 meets as a freshman.
BEFORE BC: Attended St. Joseph High School...four year swimming varsity letterman...4-time sectional champion...All-Conference 2012-2015...5-time Indiana state qualifier...St. Joe Rookie of the Year in 2012...Team MVP 2015...School record holder in 200 Freestyle Relay...Penn Station Athlete of the Year Finalist for Northern Indiana.
PERSONAL: Billy is from South Bend, Indiana...son of Rick and Mo Miller...has a brother, Sam (25) who was a 4-year varsity swimmer for American University and a sister, Meeghan (26) who graduated from the University of Notre Dame...Billy swims for his club team, Michiana Stars, under former NCAA and Olympic coach, Mike Anderson.
