AS A JUNIOR (2018-19): Swam a personal best in the 50 Y Fly with a time of 25.73… swam a season best in the 50 Y Free with a time of 24.27… competed in the ACC Championships.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2017-2018): Integral member of the Eagles squad ... At the ACC Championships, placed 39th in the 100 yd. butterfly (56.70), which she improved in a time trial to the 4th fastest time in program history (56.42), and 42nd in the 100 yd. backstroke, achieving the 5th fastest time in program history (57.11) ... at the Terrier Invite, placed 9th in the 100 yd. butterfly with a time of 56.84 and 13th in the 100 yd. backstroke with a time of 57.56…placed fourth in both the 100 yd. backstroke (59.64) and 100 yd. butterfly (58.51) in a dual-meet with Boston University and Holy Cross ... placed second in both the 100 yd. backstroke (59.39) and 100 yd. butterfly (57.62) vs. MIT ... won the 50 yd. backstroke (27.56), 50 yd. butterfly (26.25), and 100 yd. individual medley (1:00.89) vs. Tufts ... won both the 100 yd. backstroke (59.50) and 100 yd. butterfly (57.96) vs. Marist ... won the 100 yd. individual medley (1:00.64) and placed second in the 100 yd. backstroke (59.81) vs. Keene State ... placed second in both the 100 yd. backstroke (59.12) and 100 yd. butterfly (57.78) vs. George Washington .. placed second in the 100 yd. butterfly (57.91) and third in the 100 yd. backstroke (59.49) vs. Loyola (MD) ... placed second in the 100 yd. butterfly (59.24) and third in the 100 yd. backstroke (1:00.66) at the Northeast Catholic Invitational ... placed third in both the 100 yd. backstroke (59.93) and 100 yd. butterfly (58.64) vs. Bryant…scored a total of 198.5 points her sophomore year.
AS A FRESHMAN (2016-2017): Had a strong start to her Boston College career as a member of every travel squad, including the ACC squad…Placed 17th in the 100 yard backstroke with a time of 58.22, 19th in the 50 yard freestyle at the Terrier Invitational with a time of 24.38, and 20th in the 100 yard butterfly with a time of 58:59…At the ACC Championships, placed 36th in the 100 backstroke with a time of 58.13, and swam a lifetime best in the 100 yard butterfly, with a time of 57.49…scored a total of 168 points for the team her freshman year.
BEFORE BC: Attended Arlington High School...lettered and received the All-Section award all four years of her high school career...holds school records in 200 medley relay, 200 freestyle relay, 400 freestyle relay, 100 back, 100 free, and 50 free... received the Outstanding Senior Award for Swimming.
PERSONAL: Ina is the daughter of Mia Elcott and has one brother Zachary Elcott (25)....Ina swam for Red Fox Aquatic Club for 12 years.
