High School
Earned all-state (6A) honorable mention honors as a senior at Tallahassee's Lincoln High School...was a two-year starter for head coach David Wilson; played primarily in the interior of Lincoln's defensive line, but also saw action on the outside and at linebacker...served as team captain...led the 1999 Trojans to their first state championship (6A)...made 56 tackles...also recorded 4.5 sacks and seven pass breakups...earned all-city wrestling honors; also won the district title and placed third in the regional qualifier...joined three other Lincoln defensive linemen who have signed Division I scholarships his last three seasons at the school...was one of five Trojans to earn a Division I scholarship in 1999.
