Served as a valuable scout team member at linebacker...recipient of the 2005 Scout Team Award...recipient of the Humanitarian Award at the 2005 MPC Computers Bowl...has established himself as a community leader off the field...served as the president of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee.
2004 Season
The coaches moved him from quarterback to linebacker for 2004 spring drills...he then served as a valuable scout team member at linebacker as well as a backup long snapper.
2003 Season
Saw action in three games as long snapper...shared most of the snaps at quarterback with Karim El Nokali in 2003 spring practice after Quinton Porter was injured; completed 16-of-30 passes for 162 yards and a touchdown in the 2003 Jay McGillis Memorial Spring Game - that included a 40-yard touchdown strike to Tony Gonzalez.
High School
Quarterbacked the Minnetonka High School football team...an all-statedream team selection...a first-team All-Sun honoree...holds his school record for completions, total yards passed, and touchdowns...threw for 6,000 career yards with a 57 percentage completion percentage...averaged over 300 passing yards per game....once threw seven touchdowns in a single game.
