Handled all of the team's long-snapping duties...valuable member of the Eagles' special teams unit...finished the season with four tackles (three solo)...recorded one assisted tackle against Virginia and one solo stop at Maryland...finished his career with two solo stops against Boise State in the MPC Computers Bowl.

Returned as the Eagles' starting long snapper...valuable member of the special teams...made one solo tackle at Pittsburgh...recorded one assist against Syracuse.
2003 Season
Forced to sit out the 2003 season because of a wrist injury and surgery.
2002 Season
Handled long snap duties for Eagles special teams...was the starting long snapper all season...registered three tackles.
2001 Season
Played in all 11 games, plus the Music City Bowl win over Georgia, in his first season as a member of the Boston College football team...saw primary duty as the long snapper...made two tackles during the season -- on vs. Stanford (Sept. 8) and another vs. Temple (Oct. 6)...enrolled at Boston College for the spring 2001 semester and took part in spring practice.
High School
Played the 1999 and 2000 seasons as a slot back/tight end with Champlain-Lennoxville CEGEP; led the team to a combined 17-5 record and two provincial championships...splayed with Team Canada Jr. in the 2000 Global Junior Championship in Atlanta, Ga.; scored the only touchdown in Canada's 7-6 title-game win over Team Europe...a versatile athlete who has also competed in basketball, hockey, baseball, rugby and track; competed in the Canadian National Junior Championship in 1999, finishing fourth in the javelin and 10th in the discus.

Francois-Louis Brochu, born January 30, 1980...enrolled as a finance major in the Carroll School of Management...was named to the 2001 BIG EAST all-academic team...graduated from Seminaire St-Francois in 1997...Francois and his younger brother Jean-Phillippe are the sons of Gaetane St-Pierre and Reynald Brochu.
