Former walk-on who worked his way into the starting lineup; started the final five games of the season at fullback...coaches like his blocking ability...finished the season with 10 receptions for 65 yards...caught one pass for no gain vs. Massachusetts...earned his first career start at Notre Dame, where he caught two passes for 15 yards...led the team with five receptions for 42 yards at West Virginia...one reception for two yards vs. Syracuse...had a six-yard catch in his final game, vs. North Carolina in the Continental Tire Bowl.
