2003 Season
Earned a spot on the two-deep as a true freshman and saw action in 10 games...finished the season with six tackles and a TFL...played in his first collegiate game, vs. Wake Forest; registered one assist...one assist vs. Penn State...one solo at Connecticut...one assist at Temple...caused one incompletion against Notre Dame...two solos and one TFL vs. Pittsburgh.
High School
Earned SuperPrep All-Virginia honors as a senior defensive end at Mount Vernon High School; also started at tight end...captured 2002 All-District first team honors at both positions...gained All-Region second team accolades at tight end...only started playing organized football in his sophomore year of high school...was a two-year starter for head coach Jody Stone...also excelled on Mount Vernon's basketball and track teams; was one of his region's top competitors in the shot put and discus.
