CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Another NFL Draft is in the books that features the Boston College Football program, as four Eagles were selected this weekend. Below are some quick-hit notes on the 2026 NFL Draft and the Boston College Eagles.

A Boston College player has heard his name called at the NFL Draft for 13 consecutive years.
BC saw its first player come off the board on Saturday afternoon, with OL Jude Bowry selected by the Buffalo Bills in the fourth round (102nd overall) in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Saturday marked the third consecutive draft where a BC offensive lineman was taken, the fourth draft in the last five years.
Bowry became the 26th Boston College Football player to be drafted in the fourth round all-time, and the seventh Eagle to be selected by the Buffalo Bills all-time.
Later, during Saturday's sixth round, OL Logan Taylor was selected by the Los Angeles Chargers (202nd overall).
Taylor marks the 83rd player all-time drafted to the NFL from Canada.
The 2026 NFL Draft represents back-to-back years where at least two BC offensive linemen were drafted. The last time before 2025 where two BC offensive linemen were taken came in 2015, when Ian Silberman and Andy Gallik were drafted.
Two picks after Taylor in the sixth round, WR Lewis Bond was selected by the Houston Texans (204th overall).
Bond is just the second Eagles wide receiver drafted since 2000.
Before 2023, the last BC receiver drafted into the NFL was Kelvin Martin in 1987.
Bond is the second BC player taken by Houston all-time, with the first being DE Joe Pryor in 1969.
Since the NFL Draft went to a seven-round format in 1994, Boston College has had three or more players drafted on 12 occasions.
Over the last decade, Boston College has had at least three players drafted on four occasions (2026, 2025, 2019, 2018).
The last time Boston College had three offensive players selected in the NFL Draft was in 1999, when OL Damien Woody, RB Mike Cloud, and OL Doug Brzezinski were drafted.
Quintayvious Hutchins marked the Eagles lone seventh round draft selection, when the New England Patriots picked him 247th overall.
Hutchins' selection highlights back-to-back years a BC defensive end was drafted, with Donovan Ezeiruaku being selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the second round (44th overall) in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Boston College had four total players selected in the 2026 NFL Draft. The last time the Eagles had four players drafted came in 2019.
Since the NFL Draft went to a seven-round format in 1994, the Eagles have had four or more players drafted just four times: 1995, 2014, 2019, and 2026.
With four 2026 NFL Draft selections, only Clemson and Miami (9) had more draft picks.
