Finished his career with 3,203 career passing yards, 10th most all-time; his 290 career completions are the ninth-most in school history; his 63.6 percent completion rate (136-of-214) in 2005 is the third highest single-season completion percentage in school history (behind Mike Kruczek in 1974 and Mark Kamphaus in 1988); his 59.9 percent career completion rate (290-of-484) is the third highest career completion percentage in school history (behind Mike Kruczek and Paul Peterson).
2005 Season
Started seven games at quarterback...finished the season having completed 136-of-214 passes (63.6 percent) for 1,357 yards, nine touchdowns and seven interceptions...completed 27-of-35 passes for 232 yards and two touchdowns in the season opener at Brigham Young; established a career-high, single-game completion percentage of 77.1 percent (minimum 20 completions)...topped 200 yards passing for the second consecutive game, completing 15-of-20 passes for 206 yards and two touchdowns against Army; threw a season-long 41-yard touchdown pass to Will Blackmon...completed 20-of-31 passes for 151 yards and two touchdowns against Florida State; forced to exit the game midway through the third quarter with a high ankle sprain...returned to action two weeks later and completed 25-of-37 passes for 301 yards and one touchdown against Virginia...after topping the 300-yard mark for the second time in his career, Porter earned ACC Player of the Week honors for his effort against the Cavaliers...completed 20-of-41 passes for 184 yards and two touchdowns against Wake Forest...completed 13-of-24 passes for 139 yards and one touchdown at Virginia Tech...completed 16-of-26 passes for 144 yards at North Carolina.

2003 Season
After battling with Paul Peterson in preseason camp, Porter was given the starting nod for the season opener vs. Wake Forest...completed 22 of 39 passes for 243 yards and his first collegiate touchdown in that game...completed ten of 21 passes for 145 yards, two TDs, one interception, also had three carries for 27 yards, a long of 16 in BC's 27-14 victory at Penn State...Completed 14 of 27 passes for 156 yards and two touchdowns in victory at Connecticut...completed six of 18 passes for 61 yards and one interception, also had 11 carries for 38 yards vs. Miami...completed 17 of 25 passes for 131 yards, three TDs, rushed four times for seven yards vs. Ball State...completed 18 of 24 passes for 308 yards, a season high, and three TDs, a long of 65 yards, also had nine carries for 31 yards at Temple...named Big East Co-Player of the Week for that effort...completed 20 of 28 passes for 249 yards, two TD passes, sacked five times, also rushed nine times for 26 yards vs. Syracuse...completed 13 of 25 passes for 199 yards and one touchdown, had 16 carries for 41 yards and one touchdown vs. Notre Dame...completed 12 of 29 passes for 186 yards, a career-long of 69 yard to Grant Adams, also carried the ball ten times for eight yards vs. Pittsburgh...completed eight of 14 passes for 86 yards, one interception, left the game early in the first quarter with an injured hand vs. West Virginia...shared signal-calling duties with backup Paul Peterson...also carried ball three times for 12 yards...Peterson started the remaining three games of the season... recipient of the John L. 2002 Season
Listed at number two on depth chart at quarterback spot behind Brian St. Pierre...played in four games; completed 6-of-7 passes for 27 yards...went 4-for-4 passing for 16 yards against Central Michigan.
2001 Season
Saw action in seven games as a freshman...served as backup to Brian St. Pierre...completed 8-of-13 passes for 55 yards and one interception...went 3-for-3 passing for 28 yards against Army; had a season-long 18-yard completion to Derrick Knight in the fourth quarter.
High School
Played in the 2001 Maine Shriners Game...established state and school records with his passing numbers; threw for 4,800 yards and 62 touchdowns in his high school career; completed 56 percent of his pass attempts....Earned SuperPrep All-America honors as a senior quarterback at Portland High School; led his team to a 10-1 record in 2000...captured 2000 USA Today Maine Player of the Year honors...was Gatorade's Maine Player of the Year in 2000...gained all-state first team accolades...was a two-time SMAA all-conference first team selection...threw for 1,600 yards and 18 touchdowns as a senior; ran for 11 touchdowns in 2000...played for head coach Mike Bailey...also played basketball at Portland High School.
