Four Eagles Earn Phil Steele Preseason ACC Team Honors

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Four Eagles earned 2026 Phil Steele Preseason ACC Team honors, the publication announced Wednesday.
Safety KP Price was named to the Phil Steele Preseason ACC Second Team. The senior from Baltimore, Md. led the team in tackles in 2024 and 2025, totaling over 175 in that span. A 2025 team captain, Price notched Second-Team All-ACC honors last season.
Second-year defensive back TJ Green was named to the Phil Steele Preseason ACC Second Team as a kick returner. The San Diego, Calif. native added 130 yards on six kick returns during his true freshman year a season ago. After playing in 10 games with three starts in the secondary, Green added 25 tackles, two quarterback hits, one sack and a forced fumble.
Redshirt senior kicker Luca Lombardo was named to the Phil Steele Preseason ACC Third Team. A 2025 Lou Groza Award Semifinalist, Lombardo made 16-of-17 field goals on the year, including a career long 52-yard field goal vs. California (9/27). The Westport, Conn. native also made all 35 extra points he attempted last season.
Liberty transfer Evan Dickens was named to the Phil Steele Preseason ACC Fourth Team. The Marietta, Ga. native joined the Eagles in the winter after compiling over 1,300 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns with the Flames in 2025. His 1,339 rushing yards ranked fifth in the country, and his 16 touchdowns were fourth-best nationally.
