Was a three year starter at Brother Rice High School...joins an illustrious group of former Warriors to play at Boston College: Jim Browne, Brian Brennan, Charlie Brennan and Pete Mitchell also starred at Brother Rice...earned All-North first-team honors from the Detroit News and Division 2 honor roll accolades from the Detroit Free Press in 2001...gained PrepStar All-Midwest honors as a senior linebacker...also earned All-Detroit Catholic League honors and Oakland Press All-County Dream Team accolades...recorded 84 tackles, including 57 solos, in 2001; also registered three sacks, three fumble recoveries and one interception...made nine receptions for 112 yards and one touchdown as a tight end...led the Warriors to a 7-4 record in 2001 and a 13-1 record and a state title in 2000; served as team captain...played for head coach Al Fracassa.
