Lacrosse Faces No. 1 UNC in ACC Showdown

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College lacrosse travels to Chapel Hill to face No.1 North Carolina on Saturday at 12 p.m. on ACC Network.

About the Eagles
Last Time Out
BC used a strong fourth-quarter surge to upend then-No. 23 Pitt on Saturday, 12-8. The Eagles used a 6-0 run, highlighted by five straight goals in the fourth quarter to seal the win against the Panthers.  Lily Kondas led the Eagles with her first-career hat trick. Casey Colbert posted a season-high three points with two goals, an assist and added two ground balls, while Molly Driscoll added three points of her own (2G, 1A). Marissa White found the back of the net twice, and Kylee Colbert tallied a goal with an assist and a pair of GBs. Defensively, Shea Baker and Kaitlyn Cole each caused two turnovers, with Baker also collecting a team-high three ground balls. Giulia Colarusso contributed across the field with six draw controls, two points (1G, 1A), a caused turnover, and a ground ball.

Molly Driscoll became the latest Eagle to hit the century mark in career points after an assist to Kylee Colbert in the second half. Driscoll is averaging a career-high 3.3 points this season, and is leading the team with 30 points (19 G, 11 A).

Hitting Their Stride
BC heads into Saturday's contest on a season-long three-game win streak, while allowing its opponents to an average of seven goals during the stretch with 24 caused turnovers. Seven players have at least five points, while Giulia Colarusso (8 G 2 A) and Driscoll (5 G, 5 A) have a team-best 10 points.
