No. 5 Eagles Complete Sweep Against No. 4 Notre Dame

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – On a day where BC honored its 2021 senior class, the No. 5 Boston College lacrosse team completed its weekend sweep against No. 4 Notre Dame, winning 18-12 inside Alumni Stadium on Saturday, April 17.

Charlotte North and Cara Urbank led BC's offense with seven and six points, respectively. North had six goals and one assist, while Urbank had four goals and two assists. Courtney Weeks also had a hat trick on the day, giving her back-to-back games with three goals.

In goal, Rachel Hall made seven saves on 16 shots in 55:24 in net.

The Eagles played a similar game to the one on Thursday, jumping out to a 5-0 lead in the 10 minutes of play and didn't give up a goal until the 16:23 mark of the first half.

BC dominated the first half of play, winning 11-3 at halftime.

BC out-shot the Irish, 31-25, and had 17 draw controls to Notre Dame's 14. North had a game-high 10 draw controls, while Hollie Schleicher had five.

The Eagles' defense caused nine turnovers, including two each by Schleicher, Sydney Scales and Belle Smith.
