No. 13 Eagles Top No. 15 Trojans

NEWTON, Mass. – The No. 13 Boston College lacrosse team takes down the No. 15 USC Trojans, 14-8, during a Friday Matinee at the Newton Lacrosse and Soccer Field.

Seniors Charlotte North and Cara Urbank led the offense, both tallying five points. North had four goals and one assist, while Urbank had three goals and two assists.

Junior Rachel Hall made seven saves on the day, including five in the second half to keep BC in front.

BC hit the ground running following its win over Albany, scoring the first four goals of the game by four different goal scorers. Jenn Medjid got the Eagles going 1:45 into the game, while Caitlynn Mossman, Urbank and Cassidy Weeks would follow.

Urbank's first goal of the game was her 100th of her career at BC.

A USC goal would end BC's 4-0 run, but the Eagles would score two more from the sticks of Urbank and North.

The Eagles outshot the Women of Troy, 29-23, and went an astounding 17-19 clearing the ball.

North scored a highlight-reel behind the back goal to close out the first-half scoring, off an incredible feed from Urbank.

Annie Walsh and Belle Smith would join the scoring campaign for the Eagles in the second half.

USC would get the score to 11-8 with 4:15 to go in the game before Smith, Weeks and North would go on to score in the final two minutes.
