AS A JUNIOR (2018-2019): Concluded season with lifetime bests in both the 50 freestyle (21.27) and the 100 freestyle (46.20)… swam the freestyle leg of the 400 medley relay that broke the Flynn Plex pool record… member of 400 freestyle and 400 medley relay fastest dual meet performance in history… anchored numerous 400 freestyle relays to first place finishes throughout the season…broke two meet records at the New England Catholic Invite on relays…placed first in the 100 freestyle against Bryant… placed third in the 100 reestyle at the Boston Winter Invitational…voted team captain for his senior year.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2017-2018): Made great contributions to the program in sprint freestyle events…traveled to the ACC Championships, where he placed 55th in the 100 yd. freestyle (46.65), 55th in the 200 yd. freestyle (1:43.63), and 60th in the 50 yd. freestyle (21.44)…at the Terrier Invitational, placed 15th in the 100 yd. breaststroke (58.85), 16th in the 50 yd. freestyle (21.60), 18th in the 100 yd. freestyle (46.70), and 29th in the 200 yd. breaststroke (2:18.11)…at the dual meet vs. Williams, placed 2nd in the 100 yd. freestyle (47.88) and 4th in the 50 yd. freestyle (21.76)…at the dual meet vs. Boston University, placed 3rd in the 100 yd. freestyle (47.79) and 5th in the 50 yd. freestyle (21.75)...awarded the Kevin Conway Award for Promises Fulfilled for his outstanding commitment his sophomore year and his contributions made to the team’s freestyle relays throughout the season…scored a total of 147.5 points his sophomore year.
AS A FRESHMAN (2016-2017): Contributed to the team through his performances in sprint Freestyle and Breaststroke events…at the Terrier Invite, placed 18th in the 100 yard Breaststroke with a time of 59.19 and 23rd in the 50 yard Freestyle with a time of 21.60…selected as a member of the travel squad to the Williams dual where he placed 7th in the 50 yard Freestyle…at the Boston University dual, placed 6th in the 100 yard Freestyle…at the Husky Invite, placed 2nd in the 100 yard Freestyle with a season-best time of 47.35, 5th in the 50 yard Freestyle with a season-best time of 21.59, and 6th in the 200 yard Freestyle with a season-best time of 1:45.59.
BEFORE BC: Four-time All-State freestyler…three-time varsity record holder…three-year member of National Club Team and holds five club team records…High school team captain for two years…four-time high school All-State….two-time High School Team MVP…four-time OAA Scholar Athlete.
PERSONAL: Son of Dave and Shawn Threlkeld…has two younger siblings, Will and Meghan…swam for club team Birmingham Blue Dolphins…also ran Cross Country and Track…earned All-League and All-Regional selections for Cross Country…earned All-Region selection for Track and holds a varsity record…pursuing a degree in economics and marketing at Boston College.
