A 6-foot-4 defensive end from Brentwood, Mo, Demeterius Thompson arrives at The Heights ranked as a four-star prospect (247Sports), a top-3 player from the state of Missouri (247Sports), and a top-40 edge rusher nationally (247Sports, Rivals). A three-sport athlete, Thompson played basketball and competed in track and field in addition to football. In his senior season, Thompson recorded 48 total tackles, nine sacks and five touchdowns. Thompson was the Missouri Class 2 State Champion in the triple jump, posting a 44‘7 as a junior. In addition, Thompson placed third in the state in the 330-meter hurdles with a time of 39.39. In his sophomore year, Thompson was a Missouri Class 2 State Qualifier in the triple jump and 300-meter hurdles.
