Eagles Fall to No. 23 South Carolina 2–1 on Walk-Off in Series Finale

Columbia, S.C. - The Boston College softball team (9-18) dropped the final game of the series against No.23 South Carolina (19-10) in the final inning 2-1 on Sunday morning.
Bailey Kendziorski led the Eagles on the mound, pitching a complete game and holding South Carolina to just six hits while keeping the Gamecocks scoreless through six innings.
Offensively, Nicole Riddell accounted for BC's lone run with a solo home run over the right field fence in the third inning, her second of the season.
The Gamecocks scored two in the bottom of the seventh to walk off the game 2-1 to close the series.
