BC is 2-0 against BU this season
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Battle of Comm Ave resumes this weekend as the No. 10/11 Boston College men's hockey team and Boston University are scheduled for two games this weekend to close out the season series. The weekend series begins Friday night at Agganis Arena followed by Saturday night at Kelley Rink. Both games are slated for a 7:00 p.m. puck drop and can be watched on ESPN+ and heard on WEEI 850 AM. Saturday's game will also air live on NESN.
SETTING THE SCENE
• The Eagles are 19-10-1 overall and 13-7-0 in Hockey East
• The Terriers are 14-15-2 overall and 10-11-0 in league play
• BC is ranked No. 10 in the USCHO poll and No. 11 in the USA Hockey poll
• The Eagles are 2-0 against the Terriers this season, with the last victory coming in a 6-2 win for the Beanpot Championship in the 300th Battle of Comm Ave
UCONN SWEEP
• Boston College swept No. 10/11 UConn this past weekend
The Eagles won 5-2 on Friday night at Kelley Rink and followed that up with a 2-1 overtime win on Saturday at PeoplesBank Arena
• James Hagens scored a hat trick on Friday evening, his second of the season
• Andre Gasseau and Dean Letourneau each finished with three assists in the win
• Landan Resendes and Teddy Stiga each lit the lamp in the third period
• On Saturday, Letourneau scored on the power play, while Lukas Gustafsson fired home the game-winner just 27 seconds into overtime
• Louka Cloutier made 21 saves in each game to finish with 42 for the weekend
THE EAGLES
• J. Hagens leads the Eagles in scoring with 38 points on 20 goals and 18 assists
• Letourneau is second on the team in points with 33, scoring 18 goals and dishing out 15 assists
• Luka Radivojevic, Jake Sondreal, Stiga, Gasseau, and Gustafsson are all tied for third on the team in assists with 14
• Will Vote is in double digits for both goals (10) and assists (11)
• Nolan Joyce leads the team in blocks with 34, while Lukas Gustafsson and Minnetian are second with 31

A LOOK AT BOSTON UNIVERSITY
• The Terriers last played the weekend of Feb. 13-14 and earned a split against New Hampshire
• UNH picked up a 4-1 win at the Whittemore Center on the Friday night, but BU bounced back with a 5-3 home win at Agganis Arena the following night
• Cole Hutson leads the Terriers in points (27) and assists (18)
• Cole Eiserman has a team-high 13 goals, including five on the power play
• Jack Harvey is also in double digits for goals with 10
• Aiden Celebrini has 55 blocks, while Gavin McCarthy is right behind with 54
• Mikhail Yegorov has started all but one game in goal, posting a .900 save percentage a 2.86 goals against average
SERIES HISTORY
• The Eagles are 138-141-21 all-time against the Terriers
• BC and BU met in the Beanpot Championship for the 300th Battle of Comm Ave, where the Eagles earned a 6-2 victory
