CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College lacrosse opens ACC play against No. 16 Notre Dame on Friday at 4 p.m. in Fish Field House.

About the Eagles
Last Time Out
BC fell to No. 2 Northwestern last Friday, 20-12, in Fish Field House. The Wildcats got off to a strong start, scoring seven goals in the first quarter, while 14 of their goals came in the first and third periods. Molly Driscoll paced the offense with four points, totaling two goals and two assists. The junior attacker was one of four Eagles who scored twice. Abbey Herod carded eight draw controls, with Shea Baker and Avery Hudson netting six apiece. Caroline Chisholm, in her first collegiate appearance, led the team with two caused turnovers. Shea Dolce registered seven saves, surpassing 500 saves for her career, becoming one of three goalies in school history to reach the milestone.

A Win Would
- Give BC a 1-1 mark and a 1-0 start to ACC play.
- Give the Fighting Irish their first loss of the season.
- Improve to 26-0 when coming off a loss dating back to 2017.

Four Land on Tewaaraton Watch List
Shea Dolce, Shea Baker, Lydia Colasante and Marissa White represent BC on the first list of the season.It's the second straight season Baker and Colasante were named to the list, while it's the second time for White. Dolce was one of the five finalists last season for lacrosse's preeminent award, given to the nation's top lacrosse player.

Familiar Faces
- The Eagles will get to see former players on their respective opponents' coaching staff.
- Mckenna Davis '25 is an assistant on the Notre Dame coaching staff, while Rachel Clark '25 is on the staff at Florida State.
- In addition, both Sydney Scales '24 and Kenzie Kent '19 are on the coaching staff at Harvard.

Bouncing Back
- The Eagles have been known to bounce back when coming off a loss under coach Walker.
- BC hasn't lost back-to-back games in the same season since 2016, boasting a 25-0 record when coming off a loss since 2017.

Scouting Notre Dame (2-0, 0-0 ACC)
- The Fighting Irish are coming off wins against Michigan (12-10) and Central Michigan (25-0), outscoring both opponents by a combined 37-10.
- Grace Maroney leads the team with three goals and three assists for six points., while Charley Bacigalupo has five points (3 G, 2 A).
- Ceci Patterson has started in the net in both contests, boasting a .474 save percentage and nine saves.

Series History
The Eagles are 17-9 against Notre Dame in the all-time series, winning nine of the last 10 matchups. Boston College defeated ND last season in South Bend, 15-9.
