Peattie sits top 50 in the NCAA for the mile

BOSTON, Mass – Boston College Men's Track & Field concluded its weekend in style at the John Thomas Terrier Classic, as Colin Peattie and Mateo Bianchi became the third and fourth athletes in BC history to run a sub-four-mile.

Peattie was the highest placing finisher for BC, crossing the line at 3:59.53 for fourth place. His mark puts him second all-time in school history and top 50 in the NCAA.
Bianchi finished right behind in fifth place with a time of 3:59.83, putting him fourth all-time in program history.
In his first attempt at the mile, Theodor Schucht ran well, finishing ninth with a 4:01.61. His time puts him fifth all-time in school history.
Owen Pett also made his debut in the mile, running a 4:08.19 for a top 50 finish.
Sean Fleming broke his personal best with a time of 4:12.35, as Tommy Flynn with a 4:14.04

Next Up: The Eagles are back in action next weekend, as they compete in the River Hawk Invitational at the TRACK at New Balance on February 6-7.
