BC Falls to Stanford on Senior Day

The final game of the season is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. tomorrow
The visitors got out to an early 3-0 lead in the top of the first, before Jordan Stephens tied things up in the bottom of the first with a three-run shot, her 10th home run of the year. Stanford answered in the top of the second and third with three more runs, before Stephens once again brought the Eagles within one run with her second home run of the game. Stephens is the seventh player in BC Softball history to hit two home runs in a game, and is now tied for the eighth-most home runs in a single season with 11.
The Cardinal went on to plate 13 runs over the next three innings, before Janis Espinoza went yard for her third home run of the season, a two-run blast in the bottom of the sixth.Â
On deck: The Eagles return tomorrow for the final game of the regular season, as they take on Stanford at 2:00 p.m. for staff appreciation day.
