Stanford Awaits the Eagles for Final Series of the Season

BRIGHTON, Mass. – Boston College Softball (22-26, 5-16 ACC) are set to host the Stanford Cardinal (36-10, 13-8 ACC) in a three game series of ACC play this weekend at the Harrington Athletics Village. Friday's game will be the mental health awareness game, while Saturday is senior day, and Sunday is staff appreciation day. Friday's game will be broadcast live on the ACC Network Extra, while Saturday and Sunday's games will be on the ACC Network.

This will be just the third time that BC plays Stanford, and the first since 2008.
The Eagles are 0-2 against the Cardinal all-time.
Boston College is still in contention for a spot in the ACC Tournament, with this weekend being the final weekend of play.
Senior Jordan Stephens leads the team in batting average (.354), OPS (.996), home runs (9), RBIs (33), and slugging percentage (.626).
- In addition to being an offensive producer for the Eagles, Stephens has only struck out five times this season, which is the second-fewest in the ACC among hitters who have had at least 75 at bats.
Kelly Colleran ranks 4th in the conference for innings pitched (141.0) and ranks 11th for strikeouts (87).
Kali Case is one of six qualified players in the ACC to have not made an error this year.
Hannah Slike is two hits away from becoming No. 4 all-time in BC Softball history (205)
Sophomore shortstop Gator Robinson is tied for the fifth-most walks in the conference (32) this season and is tied for the sixth-most stolen bases (13).
