
Lacrosse Rolls to 17-2 Win at Syracuse

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Boston College lacrosse dominated Syracuse with a 17-2 victory on Thursday evening at Christian Brothers Academy in the regular-season finale.
BC ends the regular season with a 15-1 record and 8-1 mark in ACC play. The Orange falls to 9-7 and 5-4 in the league.
The Eagles held a 10-0 first-half lead, doing their damage in the opening period with seven. The defense held Syracuse scoreless until the 3:48 mark of the third period.
Shea Dolce set the tone as she posted 12 saves with an .857 save percentage, stopping her first 10 shot attempts.
Offensively, Rachel Clark scored nine points for the second straight game, netting a season-high eight goals. Mckenna Davis dished out five assists, reaching the 200 assist mark for her career and reached seven points thanks to a pair of scores. Emma LoPinto tallied five with two goals and three helpers.
Morgan Smith totaled a career-high five ground balls as well.
Boston College will face No. 7 seed Virginia at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, April 23 in the ACC Tournament Quarterfinals at American Legion Memorial Stadium in Charlotte, N.C.
