Eagles face Virginia in ACC Quarterfinals

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College lacrosse begins its run to the ACC championship on Wednesday at 5 p.m. against No. 7 seed Virginia in the ACC quarterfinal round in Charlotte at American Legion Memorial Stadium.Â
About the Eagles
Last Time Out
BC ended the regular season with a dominant 17-2 win over Syracuse last Thursday. The Eagles held a 10-0 first-half lead, doing their damage in the opening period with seven. The defense held Syracuse scoreless until the 3:48 mark of the third period.  Shea Dolce set the tone as she posted 13 saves with a career-high .867 save percentage, stopping her first 10 shot attempts. Offensively, Rachel Clark scored nine points for the second straight game, netting a season-high eight goals. Mckenna Davis dished out five assists, reaching the 200 assist mark for her career and reached seven points thanks to a pair of scores. Emma LoPinto tallied five with two goals and three helpers.Â

Dolce stopped 13 shots for a .867 save percentage - a personal best. Eight Eagles earned All-ACC status on Tuesday, as Rachel Clark, Mckenna Davis, Emma LoPinto, Lydia Colasante, Shea Baker, Shea Dolce, Abbey Herod and Devon Russell represented Boston College.Â
