Lacrosse Faces No. 23 Pitt in Red Bandanna Game

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College lacrosse hosts No. 23 Pitt on Saturday at 12 p.m. in the Red Bandanna Game in Alumni Stadium.Â
FOR WELLES
Shea Dolce will receive the No. 19 jersey for the game, given to the student-athlete that most embodies the values of Welles Crowther. Dolce is the 14th recipient of the No. 19 Jersey, honoring Welles. For four seasons at The Heights, Dolce has embodied the heart of Welles Crowther's character and will continue to demonstrate acts of courage, bravery, selflessness and strength now, and well into, her future.

The Eagles used a 7-0 first quarter to set the tone for the rest of the game in a 15-5 win over Harvard on Thursday evening. Shea Dolce made eight saves and posted a season-high .615 save percentage, moving past Katie Monaghan (2006-09) into second place all-time in program history with 572 career saves. Dolce also contributed a team-high five ground balls. Offensively, the Eagles were balanced, with seven players scoring and three earning hat tricks. Marissa White recorded three goals and an assist for four points, while Molly Driscoll added two goals and two assists. Giulia Colarusso had a hat trick and led the team with five draw controls, and Hanna Davis tallied three points (two goals, one assist). Kylee Colbert netted three goals, and her sister Casey Colbert tied for the team lead with two assists.
