
Eagles Soar Past Brown in 18-7 Victory

PROVIDENCE, RI - Boston College lacrosse defeated Brown with an 18-7 triumph on Tuesday at Stevenson-Pincince Field.
BC continues its streak with a 19th straight win dating back to last season, and improved to 11-0. The Bears fall to 5-2 on the season.
Shea Dolce stepped up in the cage with 11 saves and a .611 save percentage, with her damage coming in the first half with nine stops.
Rachel Clark scored five of her six points in the second half, registering four goals and two assists. Emma LoPinto finished with four goals and one helper for five points and two caused turnovers.
The Eagles trailed early 2-0 in the first before Mckenna Davis' lone goal started a 7-0 surge into the second quarter that was capped off by Molly Driscoll.
Lydia Colasante and Brooke McLoy stepped up in the third to extend the lead to six, 10-4. The Eagles eventually stretched their lead to 10 in the fourth period after a Devon Russell strike, helping BC pull away for the victory.
BC controlled the draw circle with an 18-11 showing. Shea Baker and Colasante tallied with six draw controls and Morgan Smith posted five. Baker carded two caused turnovers and one ground ball as well, while Colasante had three ground balls and one caused turnover.
The Eagles head West in a top-five matchup on Saturday when they face No. 5 Stanford at 4 p.m. ET.
