The Eagles snapped Northwestern's 47-game home win streak en route to a 3-0 start with a 13-9 win on Saturday. Michaela O' Connor and Shea Baker led the team with two caused turnovers and three ground balls. Shea Baker and Abbey Herod led the team with three draw controls. Shea Dolce stopped six shots and led the team with four ground balls. Kylee Colbert and Molly Driscoll stepped up in a big way for the Eagles, as both posted hat tricks to pace the offense. It was a career-high in goals for Colbert, while it's the second straight three-goal game for Driscoll. Eight different Eagles scored, while Mia Mascone (1 goal, 2 assists) and Rachel Clark (2 goals, 1 assist) netted three points.

Baker and Clark Rack up Weekly Awards
Boston College lacrosse racked up weekly awards for the second week in a row, as Shea Baker was named the ACC Defensive Player of the Week and Rachel Clark earned the IWLCA Offensive National Player of the Week award. It's the first weekly award for Baker and the second ACC weekly honor, while it's the second straight week Clark has been recognized.
Stepping Up Early
Through the first three games, BC has seen Kylee Colbert, Kaitlyn Cole, Michaela O'Connor, Morgan Smith, Devon Russell, and Abbey Herod make their first starts with BC. Molly Driscoll is also stepping up as she has 11 points. Colbert has five points while Herod leads the team with 17 draw controls and O'Connor has three CT's and five GB's. Russell has six draw controls, five points, four goals and one assist.

Series History
The Eagles are 14-5 against UMass, winning eight of the last nine meetings and four straight. BC defeated the Minutewomen last season, 20-9.
