Eagles Travel to Texas to Face SMU

Eagles go on the road for the final time in the regular season
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College men's soccer hits the road for the final time in the regular season this weekend with a trip to Texas to face SMU on Saturday night. Kickoff is slated for 7:00 p.m. ET and the game will be streamed live on ACC Network Extra.
WIN OVER AIC
• Boston College got back into the win column with a 5-0 win over AIC
• Nikolai Rojel led the way with two goals and one assist
• Ask Ekeland, Dylan Mafong, and Johannes Hanken Tjostheim each scored one goal
• Patrick Donovan posted his first shutout as an Eagle with one save
THE EAGLES
• The Eagles enter the game with a 6-6-1 overall record and a 1-4-1 league record
• Hanken Tjostheim leads the Eagles in points (12) and goals (6)
• Ekeland is second on the team in points with nine on three goals and three assists
• Russell Brown, Bryan Toro, and Rojel each have two goals
• Andrej Borak has posted four shutouts thus far, making 49 saves across 11 games played
WEEKLY AWARD
• Borak was named the ACC Defensive Player of the Week following his seven-save shutout performance against No. 7 Duke
• It marks the second time this season Borak has won the award

• SMU comes into the match with a 6-3-3 overall record and a 2-1-2 ACC record
• The Mustangs are coming off a 2-0 non-conference win over Central Arkansas on Tuesday and a 2-0 defeat to Syracuse this past weekend
• Milton Lopez and Stephan Soghomonian both have six goals while Mukisa Emmanuel has five
• Daniel Escorcia has a team-high five assists
• Martin Dominguez and Soren Russell have split time in net with both making six starts, combining to make 19 saves and have allowed just 11 goals
