Eagles Head to No. 14 Clemson

Eagles take on Top-15 opponent for the second consecutive week
Chestnut Hill, Mass. – Boston College men's soccer (5-1-2, 1-1-1 ACC) travels to 14th-ranked Clemson (6-2, 2-1 ACC) on Friday evening at Historic Riggs Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m., and the game will stream live on ACC Network Extra.
LAST TIME OUT
The Eagles drew 3-3 with 15th-ranked Louisville in a game that took almost four and a half hours due to delays. Fynn Henze, Michael Asare, and Dylan Mafong all scored for Boston College. Bryan Toro, Russell Brown, and Mafong helped set up the goals, while Andrej Borak made five saves for the third straight match.
THE EAGLES
Boston College is 5-1-2 this season with a 1-1-1 record in conference play. Asare and Brown lead the team with four goals each. The Eagles have three players with nine points this season: Asare (4 G, 1 A), Brown (4 G, 1 A), and Mafong (3 G, 3 A). Toro leads BC in assists with four, which is tied for second most in the conference. Borak has started every game for the Eagles this season and has a 1.25 goals-against average and a .750 save percentage, along with two shutouts.

A LOOK AT CLEMSON
The Tigers enter Friday at 6-2 and 2-1 in ACC play. They defeated UNC on Saturday to pick up their second ACC win of the year. Rashford Gyan leads Clemson in scoring with five goals. Xander Sevian leads the Tigers in assists with three. Sevian and Gyan lead Clemson in points with 11 each. Aleksa Janjic has started seven of the eight games for the Tigers and has a 1.14 goals-against average, a .636 save percentage, and one shutout.
SERIES HISTORY AGAINST THE TIGERS
Friday night will mark the 25th all-time meeting between the two programs, and Boston College is 4-15-5 with just one win at Historic Riggs Field. The last meeting came in September 2024 and ended 1-0 in favor of Clemson in Newton. The Eagles' lone win at Clemson came in October 2009, when they won 2-0. They are winless in their last 10 trips since a 1-1 tie in October 2010.
