CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- Boston College returned to the top spot in college hockey rankings at No. 1 by USCHO and USA Hockey last week. The No. 1 Eagles are the road team in Monday's nightcap of the Beanpot Semifinals at TD Garden against Boston University. The game is scheduled for an 8 p.m. start on NESN.
Monday night's game marks the third match-up between BC and BU in 11 days. BC swept a home-and-home as the NCAA's No. 2 team vs. the then-No. 1 Terriers (1/26-27). The Eagles enter Monday's game on a five-game win streak; their first five-game win streak heading into the Beanpot since 2014, when BC won its 19th Beanpot Championship.
