
Lacrosse Welcomes Dartmouth in Midweek Contest

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College lacrosse hosts Dartmouth in a 6:30 p.m. Midweek contest on Wednesday in Alumni Stadium.Â

Last Time Out
Boston College edged Virginia Tech in a narrow 14-12 victory on the road on Saturday. The Eagles outscored VT, 7-3, after facing a two-goal deficit early in the third period. Kayla Martello and Shea Baker each scored three goals apiece, while Baker netted her first-career hat trick. Jenn Medjid totaled a team-high four points with two goals and two assists.Â

Medjid Joins Elite Company
The attacker for BC became one of three players in school history with Charlotte North and Sam Apuzzo to join the 200-goal club after her first score at Virginia Tech. Medjid is also one of three players with at least 200 goals and 250 points. She is fifth in the nation among active leaders with 201 goals and 279 points.Â
Freshmen Contributing
The trio of Shea Dolce, Baker and Abbey Herod have stepped up this season for the Eagles. Dolce has started in three games with nine appearances between the posts, boasting a .468 save percentage and a 8.80 goals against average. Baker has scored four of her six goals over the last two contests, while Herod is fourth on the team with 19 draw controls.Â
Scouting Dartmouth (2-5, 0-2 Ivy League)
- Dartmouth is 2-5 on the season and enters Wednesday on a four-game slide. The Big Green have lost all four games by five goals or less.
-Â The Big Green fell to then-No. 14 Yale, 11-9, in their previous outing.
-Â Catherine Erb led the offense with three goals in the setback.
