Eagles Travel to Face No. 8 Duke in ACC First Round

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – No. 12 seed Boston College travels to Durham, North Carolina to face No. 5 seed and eighth-ranked Duke in the ACC First Round on Wednesday night. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. at Koskinen Stadium live on ACC Network Extra. Wednesday will mark the 17th all-time series meeting and fourth in the ACC Tournament.
ABOUT THE EAGLES
• Sophomore Augustine Boadi and junior Jonathan Murphy are tied for the squad lead in goals with three each, while rookie Xavier O'Neil joins that duo in a tie for the points lead with six
• O'Neil has a team-best four assists and scored his first collegiate goal last Friday night against defending national champion and No. 19 Syracuse in a 1-1 tie to close the regular season
• Fellow rookie Marco Dos Santos has chipped in a pair of assists and ranks tied for second on the team in shots with 20, behind O'Neil's 30 shots
• Senior Brennan Klein ranks sixth in the ACC in saves per game (2.8) and has four clean sheets
UNDERCLASS IMPACT
• The Eagles' roster consists of 20 combined underclassmen, including 11 freshmen
• Boston College's underclassmen have played roughly two-third's of the team's total minutes this season and more than three-quarters of the non-goalie field minutes (76%)

• Following a scoreless first half, Leon Musial made a point-blank save on Amir Daley early in the second half to force a Duke corner and keep the game scoreless
• Minutes later, Ruben Mesalles connected on a half-volley from the left wing and found the bottom right corner to give the Blue Devils a 1-0 lead in the 53rd minute
