Eagles Host Wake Forest on Senior Night in ACC Home Finale

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College plays host to Wake Forest on Saturday night at 7 p.m. on Senior Night at the Newton Soccer Complex. The game will be televised on ACC Network Extra. Fans are encouraged to arrive early for free pizza and gear.
Prior to kickoff, the Eagles will honor eight members of the Class of 2021: Christian Garner, Wil Jacques, Adama Kaba, Kristofer Konradsson, Alex Mieles, Ivan Postolka, Tyshawn Rose and Tyler Stott.
WEAR PINK
Fans are encouraged to wear pink on Saturday in support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation. One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime; there is currently no cure, and early diagnosis is critical to survival. The Eagles are raising money and awareness for breast cancer research. Click here to donate.
SCOUTING WAKE FOREST
• The Demon Deacons enter the weekend at 9-4-1 overall and 3-2-1 in ACC play
• Wake Forest has won five consecutive games, out-scoring opponents 19-2 in that span with three shutouts
• The Deacons are coming off a 7-0 shutout of Loyola Maryland on Tuesday in Winston-Salem
• Wake beat No. 5 Virginia Tech 3-1 at home last Saturday in its most recent ACC action
• Kyle Holcomb leads the team in scoring with six goals and four assists for 16 points
• Trace Alphin has made nine starts in net with a 6-3-1 record and a 1.19 GAA

• Saturday marks the 19th all-time meeting with Wake holding a 10-6-2 in the series
• BC and Wake Forest first met in 2005, playing to a 1-1 tie in Newton
• Then-No. 6 Wake Forest came back to beat Boston College 3-2 in March in the spring opener
• Hosei Kijima scored two goals over the final five minutes to lead the Demon Deacons at Spry Stadium
• Boston College received goals from its Icelandic players Stefan Sigurdarson and Kristofer Konradsson
