BALTIMORE, Md. / WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Boston College swimming and diving team found success in a busy weekend of dual meets, competing against Loyola Maryland and George Washington University.Â

WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
Vs. LOYOLA
- The women's team topped Loyola, 190-110Â
- The relay team of Maura Grimes, Taylor Covington, Victoria Lin and Haley Dolan earned second place in the 200 medley relay, finishing in 1:45.45.
- Freshman Lindsey Ryalls (10:34.05) and senior Kristina Fecarotta (10:47.19) placed second and third, respectively, in the 1000 free. The pair also came in first (Ryalls, 5:09.09) and second (Fecarotta, 5:10.50) in the 500 free.
- Sophomore Ashleigh Scott placed first in the 200 free with a time of 1:54.50 while senior Aileen Coyne earned second place in 1:56.33.
- Freshman Nicole Barkemeyer earned the overall top finish in the 100 back, finishing in 57.73. She also placed first in the 200 back with a time of 2:04.28.
- Lin placed first in the 200 (2:05.70) and 100 (56.85) butterfly events.
- Dolan (23.85) and freshman Sofia Zinis (24.24) placed first and second, respectively, in the 50 free.
- Kate Cilley (260.92), Ellie Uhl (254.70) and Mackenna Buchanan (221.26) swept the top-three in the 3-meter dive. They also swept the 1-meter dive, with Uhl placing first (254.99), Buchanan placing second (237.59) and Cilley placing third (237.52).
- Scott took the top finish in the 100 free with a 52.58 finish.
- The relay team of Scott, Lauren Quinn, Zinis and Dolan placed first in the 400 free relay with a time of 3:32.68.
- Grimes, Covington, Lin and Dolan placed second in the 200 medley relay with a 1:46.05 finish.
- Ryalls placed second in the 1000 free, finishing in 10:28.80.
- Scott (1:55.12) and Fecarotta (1:56.20) placed second and third in the 200 free.
- Barkemeyer earned second in the 100 back, finishing in 58.63, while Grimes (58.69) and Grace Edwards (58.75) placed third and fourth.
- Lin placed second in the 200 fly, finishing in 2:05.81. She placed first in the 100 fly in 56.80.
- Dolan won the 50 free with a time of 23.85.
- Buchanan (233.78) and Uhl (232.80) placed first and second in the 1-meter dive.
- Scott placed first in the 100 free, finishing in 52.97.
- Alexa Lantin placed second in the 200 breast with a time of 2:23.35.
- Ryalls placed second in the 500 free, finishing in 5:06.23.
- Cilley took the top finish in the 3-meter five with 241.50 points as Uhl placed second with 234.23 points.
- Lin, Dolan and Edwards placed first in the 200 free relay with a 1:35.62 finish.
MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
Vs. LOYOLA
- Sam Roche, Sami Fares, Matt Clark and Michael Hinton placed second in the 200 free relay with a time of 1:33.33.
- Freshman Zachary Szmania took the overall finish in the 1000 free, finishing in 9:39.90. He also placed first in the 500 free with a 4:41.85 finish.
- Matt Szekely placed first in the 200 free with a time of 1:43.46.
- Clark placed first in the 100 back with a time of 51.00 while Roche placed second in 51.03.
- Fares placed first in the 100 breast, finishing in 58.12.
- Dale Nickerson placed first in the 1-meter dive with 287.40 points and the 3-meter dive with 300.67 points.
- Junior Colin O'Leary earned the top finish in the 200 back with a time of 1:53.60.
- The team of Hinton, Roche, Zander Santana and Max Threlkeld placed first in the 400 free relay with a time of 3:08.61.
- Roche, Fares, Clark and Hinton placed second in the 200 medley relay with a 1:34.19 finish.
- Szmania placed first in both the 1000 free (9:38.75) and the 500 free (4:41.92).
- Roche (51.50) and Clark (52.24) placed second and third in the 100 back.
- Fares (59.98) and Peter Shepanzyk (1:00.42) placed second and third in the 100 breast.
- O'Leary took the top finish in the 200 butterfly, finishing in 1:54.99.
- Hinton placed first in the 50 free with a time of 21.45.
- O'Leary placed second in the 200 back, finishing in 1:53.90.
- Shepanzyk earned second in the 200 breast with a 2:12.40 finish.
- Szekely (51.67) and Roche (51.92) placed first and second in the 100 fly.
- The team of Damion Geoghegan Ribeiro, Hinton, Roche and Kevin Chandra placed first in the 200 free relay with a 1:25.10 finish.Â
