Eagles Host Huskies For Dual Meet

The swim and dive team welcomes Northeastern to the Connell Center
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College women's swim and dive team welcomes Northeastern to the Margo Connell Recreation Complex on Wednesday for a dual-meet. The mid-week clash is set to begin at 6:00 PM.
The Eagles are coming off of a successful weekend on the road, as they topped Loyola Maryland with a final score of 190-110. Against the Greyhounds, the Eagles compiled a number of first-place finishes, highlighted by multiple overall wins from freshman Nicole Barkemeyer (100 back, 200 back) and senior Victoria Lin (100 fly, 200 fly). BC also swept the diving competitions, with Kate Cilley, Ellie Uhl and Mackenna Buchanan each placing within the top-three of both the 1- and 3-meter dives.
The Eagles last met the Huskies last season, where BC took the overall win in a tri-meet with Northeastern and Maine. The Eagles earned 168.5 points to Northeastern's 131.5, highlighted by first place finishes from returners Maura Grimes (100 back), Lin (200 fly), Uhl (3-meter dive) and Alexa Lantin (200 breast, 200 IM).
The team continues their season on Nov. 8, as they host Duke, UConn and Dartmouth at 3:00 PM.
